Agriculture fit for the future

We need a Welsh Government that understands the rural economy, and the huge contribution farming makes to the wider economy. Farming is facing a future of great change, uncertainty, and environmental regulations.

We need to support farmers to ensure our food security, encourage local trade, help them be part of the solution to climate change and work to achieve sustainable results. They need support rather than more red tape and bureaucracy in an industry already flooded with rules and regulation. Now more than ever we need a strong voice for Brecon and Radnorshire in the Senedd.

I will make sure the farming industry gets the right support, free from unnecessary regulations, promote our quality produce and high animal welfare standards both here in the UK and abroad.
